Project description

This project aims to build a machine learning model for recidivism prediction in Georgia using NIJ's Recidivism Challenge Full Dataset in 2021 by the Georgia Department of Community Supervision and Georgia Crime Information Center from the Office of Justice Programs Portal. This project will also include the analysis of the performance of the model and whether it will overpredict recidivism in certain social groups.
