Project description

This project aims to build a machine learning model for assault prediction in Chicago, IL using crime data in 2022. The assault events used as the dependent variable in the model's preparation is extracted from Chicago Data Portal’s 2022 crime data, and multiple independent variables used in the model are from the same site and using the year that is closest to 2022.
